LIFEwithBIRD has been pretty sweet for Bridget McCall and Nicholas Van Messner.
The design duo has created a label with a little sport, a little luxe and a lot of love that has earned a spot on the shelves of some of the world’s best shops such as Barneys, Viastique, Dual and Heathen by Midwest in Japan, Intermix, Steven Alan and Fred Segal Trend New York and David Jones and Cactus Jam Australia.
Now McCall and Van Messner are opening their very own boutique at the iconic Melbourne GPO on Thursday, March 18. The store, their first concept boutique, will carry every item from the LIFEwithBIRD range and jewellery from their favourite contemporary designers.
The store launch also marks the return of the signature LIFEwithBIRD leather bags that helped build the brand’s name. The bags from the seven-year-old label are assembled by hand using imported leather from Spain and Italyand are definitely worth flying in to check out.
