Tom Ford menswear now in Australia

Gosh darn it, it can be hard to find a decent mens suit. Am I right boys? Righter* than double fisting a cold beer and an ice-cream on a 28 degree day, that's how right.

Harrolds, the Collins Street and Martin Place menswear retailer has looked into the problem, and is now kindly fitting you out with current season Tom Ford suits. Tom Ford has been delivering the sexy sharp suits to the men of Foreignia since 2005. But for some reason Australian retailers saw fit to deny us his suity pleasures.

Why did it take so long for our local shops to work out that Australian men too need these hot suits to get the clothes off the ladies? An ill-fitting polyester suit, a shiny grey suit, or your Dad's double-breasted will never have the effect that Ford's gear does. His suits are pretty much the James Bond of the suit world. They just show up and the girls all switch to maximum nude.

So far just the three looks pictured are in-store, but campaign hard enough, and we'll soon see more of his work downunder.

Could they have found a worse model for these photos? I took a quick look, as as someone who has recently done a lot of suit looking (its true good ones are few and far between) these have a nice cut to them.. but ultimatly.. seem more catwalk then reality. Maybe it sets scene girls to ulitmate nude.. but thats primo easy

Harrolds is pretty much my style Mecca. Tom Ford's not changing that, but it's not making me any more eager to get there. Lapels cut too wide, and buttons too high for my liking. A very European aesthetic, when I'm more about the English-cut. One thing to note for those who are wary of entering the store because of its imposing look: I went in there last Boxing Day sale, and found a Brioni cashmere jumper reduced from $1500 to $180. That's ridiculous, and it wasn't the only bargain like that. If it was in my size, you'da seen a turquoise, cable-knitted marfucker up in this bitch all winter.

Tom Ford on this eyewear ads "We shot it with porn stars. Two men and two women. And we paid for them to have sex on set. You don't see it in the shot, but you feel it". Ergh. Lense wipe please.
