The mass consumption of prawns and mango over the last week has seen my bikini body decline rapidly. At least that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. Luckily bikinis have never really been my thang. One piece swim suits always seem the more attractive option. None of this skimpy business, mixing and matching bottoms and tops and no triangles involved, one piece swimsuits flatter the curves and are a full impact outfit. No belly button required.

Needless to say the humble one piece has evolved from the padded bra old lady get up, or the Speedo racer backs I used to wear to swimming club in grade six. This season we’re spoilt for choice with digital prints, ruched fabrics, strategic pockets, plunging necklines, frills and bows.

Key pieces to consider for getting all of the right attention poolside include the Jetts by Jessica Allen nautical number with side pockets, One Teaspoon black and white printed cut out suit, Zimmerman strapless hot pink one piece and We Are Handsome sunset suit. Happy swimming.
