The British Fashion Council gave Jourdan Dunn the Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards a couple of days ago. The superstar obviously deserves it. She's magnificent. This year she turns 18 years old and is primed for tipping Naomi off her pedestal as hottest/most astounding supermodel o' colour. There's a load of you who will be weeping with joy when that happens, not least any of you who have worked as Campbell's assistant.

Agyness Deyn won the prize last year, but a model of darker complexion was an absolute must to take out the prize this year. And more power to her.
