US Vogue puts on the champas and fairy bread for the annual Costume Gala benefit night at the Metropolitan Museum, New York. This annual shindig is the opportunity for a load of celebs and stars to get frocked up for no particular reason and have a glam good time.

The theme was Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, and while that conjures images of tights, undies on the outside and unnecessary capes, the stars did their best to turn on an elegant outfit or two.

Beyond the pretty dresses, some classic, some tragic an exhibition continues at the museum including movie costumes and radical fashion that riff the superhero theme. Highlights include Bernhard Willhelm's 2006 royal blue dress emblazoned with Superman's red-and-yellow "S-shield." Quite.

Guys CAN be premenstrual captain, it just has nothing to do with menstruation. They can also be bitchier than women in my experience... At least girls have an excuse & its only for a few days each month, whereas men can be premenstrual all the time!
