It’s that time of the year when Michael Dupouy (
LaMJC/ Colette) takes us down memory lane through the hottest drops in streetwear for the year, with the impending launch of his
All Gone almanac. Perhaps one of the most sought after hard cover coffee table books in the streetwear scene to date, the limited edition print of 1000 copies makes
this bible even more desirable to a demographic obsessed with exclusivity.
Founded in 2006 as a means of documenting only the finest street–related products released onto the market that given year, Dupouy has created a commodity unto itself with cats fiending for the first month of the year to cop their encyclopedia de cool. Last year, Melbourne’s own Sneaker Freaker magazine (with their Puma x Blaze of Glory ‘Shark’ collaboration) along with recently closed streetwear store Provider’s New Balance 1500 made the cut, putting Australia on the map as a country to contend with when it comes to quality design and cutting edge knowledge of the game.
This year, Dupouy has given us a sneak peek into what we can expect from the uneasy year that was 2009. With no real standouts, it’s a testament to a trying year for a lot of brands that struggled to meet those high expectations of the ’08. Leave it to Michael to come with the goods and provide us with endless pages of untapped and sold out sweetness regardless of the trying times.
Thanks to the wonderment of the internet, you can now cop your sneak peek for free and if you like what you see and think your coffee table could do with some much needed stylin’ and profilin’ The Heist in Melbourne will be stocking the few copies that will hit OZ or try your luck online. Get on it before they is ALL GONE! (tehe).
