Today is the day when thousands of lil’ hypebeasters and Supreme fanboys around the world go ape ish, as the new Fall/Winter line drops online. Last week’s line up in New York was a picture of desperation mixed in with incredible loyalty, as devotees braved Hurricane Irene for days on end as they camped in front of the Lafayette Street store hoping to be the first to score some ‘Preme love.

It’s incredible how one streetwear brand can cause such a crazy frenzy. Most of us in the scene remain divided by its powerful marketing strategies and pull. While those older heads will proclaim Supreme to have a ‘been there, done that’ kinda vibe, there’s always a new generation of cats out there that juice the brand on to keep creating epic collections. The Fall/Winter line pays homage to the older fans of the brand, drawing them back with simplistic box logo imagery of an iconic Biggie Smalls/Bad Boy album cover.

It’s evident that the brand will still try to win over those older OG customers, with a more cut and sew friendly collection, that screams ‘mature streetwear cat’, but it’s the kids that wanna be just like Tyler The Creator that are buying in bulk and reselling at exorbitant price points.

While the entire collection drops online today globally, I decided to steer clear of showing you the look book, which you can check out here. Instead I give you a look inside the brand’s lesser-known, yet incredibly interactive Tumblr site. I only noticed last week, but the Supreme fellas posted my pic, which you may have seen in a previous post on my Vine blog from ‘I Dig Your Sole’. There I am, reblogged a whopping 213 times, promoting my own brand ‘YO! MAFIA’ while shouting out the ‘Preme fellas.

You can actually submit your own photo of yourself rocking Supreme – you never know, you could trump my image and be at the top of the pile. Check out some of the other dope images of cats showing their undying love to perhaps the world’s number one streetwear brand, and remember ‘it’s takes a little bit more to be Supreme’.
