Sometimes books get it right and sometimes they get it wrong. We’re still partially undecided on this one above. There are striking similarities to our good ol’ T-world (right down to a big fat yellow T on the cover!), but we think there is enough in it to pass the test and be on your bookshelf based on the content alone. We’re already fans of Threadless, T-post (pictured) and King Stampede – hell, they’re some of the best labels working within the T-shirt world.

Where we think there is room for improvement is the design of the actual publication. It feels a little sloppy in some parts and therefore let’s the package down. Everything comes down to the details. Even to the way they write ‘T-shirt”. Let us assure you, it’s ‘T-shirt’ (never in lowercase). It’s nice and affordable though, so let’s not complain too much. Head to Greville Street bookstore (Melbourne) for this one, that’s where we got ours!

So, the answer to the above question is simple – yes. I always judge a person by the T-shirt they wear and do the same with the dust jacket of a book. Remember, we live in a material world...

T-ill next time,

Eddie
