Famous people. They get all the perks in life. They walk around pretending like they're just your average human being, but they don't fool me. Their designer clothes are usually a pretty good giveaway to their super human abilities.

This week in celebrity land, actresses have been upping the ante on the red carpet, using their super human powers to gain new season designer dresses hot off the catwalk, while us mere mortals are forced to wait until they hit the stores.

Blake Lively was blessed with some new season Lanvin to wear on the magical red carpet, and looked rather ravishing while doing so.

Over on another red carpet, Keira Knightly and Carrie Mulligan continued to look awesome. This time the two flirted with cool kid labels Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and Prada.

The busty wonder woman that is Eva Mendez went out looking all lady-like and demure in white. The equally busty Kim Kardashian also tried to attempt some white lace innocence but failed miserably. She then wore a disco ball out to celebrate her 30th birthday and all was right with the world again.

Hilary Swank has been struggling in her style choices of late. The actress who usually plays it safe in Armani has recently branched out, wearing an alfoil ball gown to an awards night, and then backing it up by looking a little off in some amazing shoes.

Sarah Jessica Park tried to make it look at if she was human with some amazing 3.1 Phillip Lim ankle boots. Too bad her alien looking hands gave her away.

Back on earth, blond bombshell Sienna Miller played it unusually safe but still incredibly chic in a LBD. Kate Bosworth followed along those same lines in a Derek Lam dress, red lips and dishevelled hair.

But the celebrity world’s biggest style surprise is Minnie Driver, who looked smoking hot in a blue Grecian style Marchesa dress.
