In their last collaboration for 2011, Sportsgirl has decided it likes Miss Unkon.

Based in Sydney, Miss Unkon (the designer's true-to-its-name take on 'unconventional') is a bit of a manic pixie dream girl. The label is known for its fondness for flirtation and femme details, think ruffles, bows and frilling little extras.

This super sweet aesthetic has captured the international imagination, with Refinery 29 professing themselves particular fans of the brand. There's also a strong element of blogabilty to the Miss Unkon aesthetic. It's not hard to picture her billowing scoop hemlines, or twee little rompers walking, eyes averted, down a leafy, sun drenched street.

For Sportsgirl Miss Unkon has created an exclusive floral print, which has the retro quality of peeling wallpaper, brightened into life with touches of vivid greens and purples.

The small capsule collection is a little pack of summer essentials, from the racy weekend playsuit, to the perfect floating sun dress with a few frilly shorts in between. It's also retailing at eminently reasonable price points (between $80 and $140), so you can exercise a bit of restraint in your summer spree.

Sportsgirls like Miss Unkon will be available in selected stores and online from next Monday.
