Happy day and congratulations to Michael and Lara. What a joy it is to find that one perfect sportsman to fill your days and nights. We wish them all the crickety joy in the world. But we don't envy the pressure. Lara may have gotten away with a bikini for a while there, but she'll have to truly expand her wardrobe if she's going to be the Victoria Beckham of Australian fashion.
She's an ambassador for Speedo, so she's sorted in the poolwear department. So far she has been snapped wearing a casual selection of loose black and white slips, black havaiana thongs, a wide selection of killer heels and just enough little colourful dresses to make for no repeats on the party circuit.
Labels throwing gear in her general direction will need to take into account her sunny disposition, casual yet fun and classic taste. Plus they will need to note that while she is still plenty sexy, she's well and truly off the shelf.
The 20 year-old model is rocking a fat diamond ring from Clarke, who proposed in New York after asking Bingle's dad for the go-ahead. Bingle still lives with her parents in Yowie Bay, and is considering moving in with Clarke when his Lilli Pilli renovations are finished. Let's hope he builds in a sizable wardrobe.
