With less than two week’s until Halloween, Johnny Cupcakes – the Peter Pan of t-shirts - is getting us all in the mood with a selection of his delectable treats. Sure, we’re not too up on celebrating this auspicious day like our fellow American brethren, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get in the spirit with a slice of Cupcake goodness. After all, every piece is uber limited! And with all stock available exclusively to JC’s online store and US locations you can be sure you won’t run into anyone else rocking these pumpkin perfections on the streets. While most will be looking for The Situation torso sets or Snooki get ups, you can look uber crispy this Halloween with a box of Cupcake Mix or faboosh in a One Armed Claw top.

Rocking Johnny Cupcakes is one way to support this independent enterprise that started out the back of JC’s ’80 Toyota Camry. Something tells me he’s now rolling on dubs in a souped up Benz or 5.0 – the ultimate trappings of success. From sporting his very own custom made Cupcakes shirt to work back in 2000, it only took one year and a heap of requests for the entrepreneur to start producing limited runs of his signature logo shirt to sell to the hungry public. From there, a ton of word of mouth promotion pushed Johnny Cupcakes into the limelight with everyone wanting a taste.

Come 2005, the first Johnny Cupcakes store was opened in JC’s hometown of Boston. An old boat garage was turned into a boutique store, warehouse and office space. By 2008 Johnny was voted America's #1 Young Entrepreneur by BusinessWeek magazine leading him to ‘hold lectures and seminars on how to start and maintain an original business without any startup money or other resources.’ He continues to heavily tread the college route letting anyone that will listen in on his tips on how to be a solely operative independent business. No small feat these days! With stores all over the US in NYC, LA and Beantown, Johnny is the poster child for success without selling out.

This is perhaps the reason why most of my cupboard is chock full of Cupcakes tees. No other brand I know has made it on their own, with no cash, no back up plan and no support from larger corporations. Add to that the fact that he only has to sell product within his stores and online shop, you know you’re always getting a slice of exclusiveness. It’s time to scoop that goo out of your pumpkins, add some fake blood to the mix and cop some Johnny Cupcakes Halloween goodness this October 31st.
