Gucci. At my desk that's code for hyper-fashionable super-expensive anything. "Ooh, that's Gooch," is a phrase that's bandied about when a super 'spensive loafer comes by* or an outlandishly lavish handbag.

Now thanks to this show I'll have to apply that to the candy-coloured floral embroidery slammed up against khaki and a hot pink lining/highlight on a demure moss fabric. Because that's what we've got here. Crazy Italian fun time gaudiness applied to the Gucci staples, such as the gym tote. And my, with some exceptions - such as the white leather jacket with floral emboidery - it's sweet.

A very wearable element of this show is the "hot pink T-shirt as outfit" highlight. We all know this has been done before by many an Aussie bloke. Witness the pink Ralph Lauren polo phase of 2004.

Another is the yellow and black print marle V-neck T-shirt with brown leather jacket. Very wearable. Very immediately wearable.

* This all stems from a comment from a rude girl in a wee shop. When we admired her loafers and asked where she got them from she sneered at us like we were impoverished fasharlatans and said "They're Gucci". Ouchy.
