Lancôme Fall 09 Colour Collection: Declaring Indigo.
Lancôme’s new collection is not so much a statement, as a “make-up revolution”. Inspired by French film and fashion icons - free spirits who embodied liberty, strength and effortless chic - Make-up Artist and Lancome’s Artistic Director Aaron De Mey created a colour palette of blues and reds accented with shimmer and gold. Available are new products for lips, cheeks, eyes and nails. My favourite is Le Vernis Matte nail varnish in Indigo Paris.

Shu Uemura Red:juvenus
Shu Uemura’s cleansing oils are legendary; now we may target the first signs of aging thanks to their new skin rejuvenation system. Applying the “energy flow” principle for maintaining maximum health and vitality, Red:juvenus encourages circulation and retards skin oxidation, restoring skin to it’s youthful best. Infused with Pomegranate, Amalaki (a fruit known to stimulate and regenerate) and Lycopene Capsule 2x (a powerful antioxidant extracted from the tomato plant), the system features serums, concentrates, essences, emulsions and creams designed to revitalize tired, lack-luster skin. I love the Intense Vitalising Concentrate.

Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk UV Foundation SPF20 and Idole d’Armani fragrance.
The Lasting Silk formula is closer in consistency to a tinted moisturiser than the original Luminous Silk. That said; making this foundation more lightweight has not been at the expense of superior coverage. Long wearing, while still being comfortable and easy to apply, Lasting Silk renders the skin soft focus, not dry and powdery looking. The SPF 20 also makes it ideal for summer.
Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance Idole d’Armani is touted as the designer's signature scent, with Armani himself designing the bottle in which it arrives. Featuring an intoxicating blend of bitter orange, juicy pear and ginger with jasmine, saffron and patchouli, Idole is sensual and captivating yet elegant and sophisticated.

Chanel Autumn Makeup 2009: Collection Venise
Designed by Make-up Artist and Global Creative Director Peter Philips and debuted on the shores of the Lido earlier in the year, Chanel’s latest collection is a must-have mélange of innovative textures and sophisticated shades. Inspired by Mademoiselle’s long-time love affair with Venice - product names such as Courtisane, Murano and Clandestine echo this - this range features glosses and creams for both lips and eyes, as well as crayons, shimmer powders and nail lacquers. I love The Chanel Eye Gloss, exclusive to this season.
