As illustrated by the recent ready-to-wear and haute couture collections, the more popular street style blogs and the array of new wares rolling out onto counters belonging to beauty's elite, there are only four nail varnish shades worth applying in the season to come. "Only four?", you ask. That’s right. Forget wearing other shades, you’ll be "so last decade".
From a fashion perspective, red, black, sky blue and a rather strange, difficult to describe accurately without sounding ghastly, taupey-beige are the shades of the moment. Indeed these shades were seen on the runway at Chanel and Rodarte (among others), as well as on the many whom attended said shows. Needless to say, these designer fingers and toes perfectly complemented the bags, shoes and clothes.
