Lady Gaga channels Lana Del Rey, Visits Julian Assange

The world’s 15^th most powerful woman and Twitter’s most popular account holder, Lady Gaga, has gone from trend-setter to trend-spotter, falling victim to the unassailable allure of Lana Del Rey. (Looks like she’s human like us after all!)

After what has been described as a ‘disappointing’ concert in Barcelona (you know, the one where she spewed on stage) Gaga made an almost-instant appearance at London’s iconic Harrods store less than 24 hours after the fiasco, “riding in a golden carriage pulled by two stunning black horses wearing feathers on their heads,” reports THR, as she arrived to promote her Fame perfume.

Wearing a fitted black maxi (the label has not yet been confirmed) Gaga looked svelte, settled and sixties-inspired with her hair “done up real big beauty style” with arched brows, cat-eyes and a tinted pout culminating in what can only be described as a look inspired by the Video Games chanteuse. Needless to say, she did inject her now-predictably unpredictable antics into the ensemble with some gaudy custom-made tech-bling claws.

Gaga, however, is not the only one to have borrowed the tripped-out troubadour’s beauty look of late. Patene Pro-V’s head stylist Sam McKnight energized Moschino’s models with the Tumblr-popularized hair silhouette at Milan Fashion Week, and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton re-invigorated the bouffant on the PFW SS catwalk. Get those teasers out, ladies.
