Valentino is looking to the future, and
younger, trendier clientele.
Last year saw Valentino’s takeover by
private equity firm Permira, as well as the retirement of its founding father
in July.
These big changes have pushed the brand into innovation overdrive, with a
five-year plan that includes doubling sales and tripling accessories sales.
The most radical transformation would have
to be that Valentino has set their sights on attracting a new woman to the brand,
which could be owing to the new head of design Alessandra Facchinetti.
Valentino plans to win over more youthful
fashionistas by creating younger looks with more attractive price tags.
