The sun shines on the beautiful and talented
The sun shines on talented people and also on their forgetful and clumsy friends who need affordable sunglasses.

Ray Ban Wayfarers are great, there's no denying how classic they are (though they do make some noses looks extra big) however they are kind of expensive. So if you, like me, break, lose or scratch your sunnies and you'd rather not have a heart attack every time this happens, then Le Specs may be the answer.

Le Specs used to be the label that your Mum wore, but lately they've come out with some great shapes and colours. Plus at $49.95 as these red spotty ones are, it's perfectly acceptable to sit on them or leave them in the back of a cab. Your wallet will not hemorrhage.

I am going on a bit, but unlike cheap sunnies from a market or somewhere, these are pretty solid and the lenses will actually protect your eyes from the sun properly.

Plus, my friend Susannah has had some for a while and she's the coolest person in the world.

Laila New citizen Laila ON 09 Apr 2008 01:35:56PM Speaking of fashion, but in the faux pas sense, I have seen SO many bogans with bright rimmed sunnies since Corey's escapade. Not just yellow either. They're taking it to the next level. Bless em.

aviator Royalty aviator ON 11 Apr 2008 04:30:28PM I agree that Le Specs are a cool alternative. I wore them in the 80s when I was 7! But I wish people could get their own sunnies-identity. First it was aviators, now wayfarers. There is a whole world of eye attire out there to choose from people!
