Monday night was a big one for Melbourne aesthetes. If you weren't throwing them back at the fashion week launch party, you may have been at the Redken Future Colour Competition.

The beautiful and talented girl about town Ruby Rose awarded the main prize to Nathan Weymouth from Salon M in South Yarra. His winning look was a perfect head of blonde curls on a girl with the deepest dark eyes you could swim in them.

Nathan is now fielding a shed load of appointment calls while planning for his trip to the US in 2009 where he'll work for a week with renowned hair empressario Rodney Cutler. Nathan will also take part in a masterclass with Aussie stylist Kenneth Stoddart. Should do wonders for his career.
