Remember the Louis Vuitton graffiti bags from a few years ago? They were the hottest ticket in LV stores and with rip-off merchants alike.

That graffiti was by New York artist Stephen Sprouse and now Louis Vuitton have released a brand new range of this collaborative work for 2009.

Tomorrow in the LV store in Soho, New York, you'll be able to snap up one of three limited edition LV/Sprouse skateboards for US$8,250 or one of 250 T-shirts for $250. The skateboard comes in its own monogrammed LV travel trunk.

Sounds 'spensive to you? Well, proceeds will go to Free Arts NYC, not just to Marc Jacobs' well-tailored pockets. LV will also chip in a substantial sum for the Stephen Sprouse Memorial Scholarship Fund at the National Academy for Design.

Sprouse, who passed away in 2004, was a fashion designer and artist who had success with day-glo and fluoro the first time around, back in the eighties. He collaborated with Keith Haring, worked out of Andy Warhol's Factory space, opened a massive store on Wooster and dressed Debbie Harry.
