Aussie designer Alice McCall has recently designed a collection for major UK chain store Topshop. Only trouble is, the most striking piece, the What Goes Round dress is sold out. Must be all those Antipodian ex-pats flooding  the Oxford Street store as soon  as they heard about the clever collab.

McCall was born in the UK, and has worked there as a designer and stylist. "I wanted it have a part digi modern techno feel, but a part hippy girly and bohemian. With the DNA of our brand coming through. It's achieved this with great colours and cool prints. It really has a graphic edge. Each garment is somehow framed with black binding or white piping to give it a strong line..."

Topshop have got a knack unlike other high street stores, for picking out hot young designers and supporting them through collabs. You don't have to be Kate Moss to sell out their either. UK fashion fiends are crazy for new gear and you can always expect online orders to reduce the store-rooms to shreds as soon as new range is announced.

You can pick up other Alice McCall pieces online at Mycatwalk.
