We all know the symptoms that lead to the volcanic eruption of pent up anger and frustration that is the dummy spit. The increased heart rate, headache, sweaty palms, shortness of breath and red face are common precursors of this unproductive yet highly cathartic expressive medium. We have the luxury of losing our cool to the absolute indifference of the majority of the population.

Unfortunately celebrities do not enjoy such privileges as we all seem to wait with baited breath for them to unleash hell on unsuspecting assistants. It seems as though we find solace in seeing celebrities patience tested as it somehow reaffirms that money is clearly not the answer to life’s problems. So maybe it’s the life reaffirming qualities of these moments but most likely it’s our deep enjoyment at seeing such big egos eat a delicious piece of humble pie in the corresponding media coverage.

Regardless, thanks to the wonder of mobile video footage the instances when celebrities go wild are now captured for the world to see. In honour of Seth Green who recently entered the pantheon of grumpy celebrities (or did he?) we have compiled our top ten favourite celebrity dummy spits.

These are the moments when paparazzos were nowhere in sight and excuses aside we got to see these celebrity icons in their full asinine glory.
