Tom Cruise has added another embarrassing U.S. chatshow stunt to his repertoire - an impromptu Elvis Presley impression on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". Oh my.

The actor, who famously stunned fans in 2005 by leaping on a couch on Oprah Winfrey's daytime talk show to proclaim his love for then-girlfriend Katie Holmes, broke into a rendition of The King's hit "Blue Suede Shoes" in front of Leno and a live studio audience.



Cruise jumped from his seat to mimic the rock 'n' roll legend's hip-shaking moves during his appearance on Thursday, before confessing he'd love to follow in the footsteps of his wife Holmes and star in a Broadway play.

He told the shocked talkshow host, "I like making movies but I'm not saying 'no' to Broadway. I would like to do a musical."

    Missdemeanour (and others!), I'm gonna be unpopular here but for F's sake: Give the Scientologist shit a rest. WHO GIVES A FLYING F---? Why is that the thing that ticks the 'dickweed' box with you? Beck is a Scientologist. You gonna hate on him, too? Why don't you go and hate on some more people because of what they believe in... You get a massive PFFT! from me. In fact, you get a PFFT! out of PFFT! perfect score. Heaps of people believe in ridiculous ideas! Go and research every major religion. Guess what? Somebody's even registered JEDI as a religion. Let them be, ditch the hate, put on some thick gloves and start tending to that wilted, neglected garden of LOVE you've got going over there. ...     I HATE people who stick up for Scientology. I hate Beck, too. Now excuse me, please - I have some weeding to do in my love garden... OUCH. Pricked my finger on the thorn of a love rose. I HATE IRONY!
