The Hunger Games unveils a new clip
The Hunger Games countdown is on! With only two days before the post-apocalyptic science fiction film airs nationally, the Gary Ross directed filmed is far from toning down their marketing machine.
Based on Suzanne Collins’ dystopian fiction series, the latest clip translates Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) rushed goodbye after the Reaping, before she leaves for Capitol to compete in The Hunger Games.
Admittedly, the half-minute of movie magic is not exactly how I pictured the scene – it was far less hysterical with nowhere near as much sexual tension... Ok there was a bit of sexual tension – but it delivers all the gritty emotions and humanity that The Hunger Games promises.
