The unprecedented access granted to the filmmakers inside the NY Times newsroom gives insight into the fight for A1, the death of the old newspaper model, Wikileaks, the hard times, the opportunity, the pressure, the transformation of a media landscape, the state of American journalism, and presumably a whole lot more.
It looks brilliant and likely it will be heralded as 2011's answer to The September Issue.
Directed by Andrew Rossi, the film stars Bill Keller, Tim Arango, Brian Stelter, Bruce Headlam, David Carr and Richard Perez-Pena.
Page One: Inside The New York Times had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and will be in cinemas July 24.
