Odd Future accused of beating up fan at Texas gig
Famous for their matchless aesthetic, abstruse pseudonyms and questionable foray into cable television, LA-originated hip-hop collective Odd Future [Wolf Gang Kill Them All] are well acquainted with controversial courts, but the latest allegations thrown their way go beyond their usual emo-insults and Drake legacy lampoons.
The group that launched the career of inimitable music force Frank Ocean is under fire – and may soon be sued – after allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old fan at an Odd Future gig in Texas last weekend.
Chassan Rasagi has filed a police report against the group, claiming he was injured after he climbed on stage to be subsequently pushed off into the crowd, shoved back and forth amongst the audience and then beaten up at a December 8th gig at San Antonio’s White Rabbit music venue.
Rasagi took photos post-concert of him injured, and according to TMZ.com, “suffered lacerations on his head, scratches, and burns to his body during the melee [as well as] two seizures.”
Of course, both camps say the other threw the first punch, and thanks to the ubiquity of camera phones, the below video of the biff has since emerged.
Happy watching, errrbody.
