Can't be bothered doing anything productive this morning? You've come to the right place. Here are new films from Will Ferrell, Kristen Stewart, Johnny Depp and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

* First up we have the  new trailer for The Green Hornet. Let's see if Seth Rogan can pull of an action film, shall we?

The Green Hornet
is due out in Australia on January 20, 2011.

* Next up we have The Other Guys, a comedy from Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. Eva Mendes stars as Ferrell's wife, which should be interesting.

The Other Guys is due for release in Australian cinemas on September 9, 2010.

* From director Gore Verbinski (The Ring, Pirates of the Caribbean) comes animated film Rango (with Johnny Depp voicing the lead character). According to IMDB the synopsis goes something like this: "a chameleon that aspires to be a swashbuckling hero finds himself in a Western town plagued by bandits and is forced to literally play the role in order to protect it."

... That's not immediately obvious in this Rango teaser trailer:

There's also this trailer:

Rango is scheduled for release in Australian cinemas on April 7, 2011.

* The internet has been abuzz this week with the new trailer for the James Gandolfini/Kristen Stewart film Welcome to the Rileys.

The film, which got rave reviews at the LA Film Festival, tells the story of a damaged man (Gandolfini) who seeks salvation by caring for a wayward young stripper (Stewart) who he meets on a business trip to New Orleans.

Apologies about the crummy quality of this trailer. It's the best we can get our hands on at the moment:

Extra clip from Welcome to the Rileys:

Welcome to the Rileys is due for general release in the States in October this year. An Australian release date is yet to be confirmed.

* Jack Goes Boating is the new film starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman. In it a limo driver's blind date sparks a tale of love, betrayal, friendship, and grace centered around two working-class New York City couples.

Very seriouse.

A release date for Jack Goes Boating is yet to be confirmed.

On a frothier note, 2010 also sees the release of the next installment in the "Meet the Parents' franchise, Little Fockers.

The filmmakers have once again wheeled out an impressive cast (Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Jessica Alba, Owen Wilson, Harvey Keitel, Barbara Streisand, Laura Dern, Blythe Danner) in an attempt to make mega-bucks from the franchise.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems devoid of the vague magic of the first installment:

Little Fockers is due for release in the States at Christmas time this year. An Australian release date will be confirmed soon.

Finally, we have the trailer for the new Paul Rudd/Steve Carell film Dinner for Schmucks. While the trailer seems a little lame in parts, reports from the US hint that this film will actually be a cracker. It's directed by Jay Roach (who also directed the Austin Powers movies and produced Bruno).

Dinner for Schmucks
opens in Australian cinemas on August 5.

* Finally, here's an Australian film that's showing a lot of promise. It's a horror film called The Loved Ones and it impressed the critics at the Toronto International Film Festival late last year. It stars Xavier Samuel (who has enjoyed overnight recognition by appearing in Twilight Eclipse) and will be released here on September 30, 2010.

You can check out a bunch of images from these films in the gallery above this post.
