Liz Hurley tells as Channel 10 journo to 'f--k off'
Liz Hurley is pretty fiercely dedicated to protecting her man, as a Channel Ten journalist found out yesterday in Perth.
After a productive week – one where he earned a one-match suspension and a $4500 fine for his behaviour in a Twenty20 match against the Melbourne Renegades, as well as the disappointment and pity of a nation only a disgraced sports star past his prime can earn – Warnie was in no mood for to chat about the previous night’s loss to the Perth Scorchers when TV reporter Caty Price approached him at the airport.
And that’s when Liz, quite literally, stepped in.
As Price described the incident on radio, “He (Warne) was pretty tight-lipped coming in, and did not say much, and then Liz clipped the back of my heels, and said ‘Don’t you know it is rude to stand in front of people’, which is fair enough…Then I asked her what she thought of the game last night; she spun around on her heels, and mouthed close up to my face, ‘I think you should f*** off.’”
With a triumphant flick of her hair, she strutted on next to Shane looking very pleased with herself. BOOM. Creating publicity while seemingly trying to avoid it: job well done, Liz. (Ahh, the perils of sports journalism.)
Enjoy the performance below.
