The trailer for Katy Perry's 3D documentary 'Part of Me' is LOLariously dramatic
Who's saying what
Every felt like watching Katy Perry EMOTE SO HARD with SPINNING WINDMILLS ON HER TITS, on the big screen, IN 3D?
Yep, us too. In what will no doubt prove to be the highest grossing documentary release since 2011's game-changing 3D Beiber-fest Never Say Never, ridiculous pop star Katy Perry will share her demons, her Christian upbringing and all her ridiculous costumes with Australia on the 5th of July.
The extravaganza is titled Part of Me and the trailer is extremely... compelling. Like, 'we actually want to watch this movie, now' levels of compelling.
Say what you will about Perry, she's managed to capture the Zeitgeist in a way that's shot her from MySpace slang and gay baiting to number one hits and Glee-fodder, all the while redressing her previous career as a Christian popstrel, with a failed marriage to a sex addled NA-attending British comedian thrown in for good measure.
Will this be a shameless puff piece with the occasional message slipped in about the cost of fame? Undoubtedly. Am I still searching for that amazing dragged out cover version of Teenage Dream I heard on the NME website that one time almost a year ago? Also yes. Do these things have anything to do with each other? I don't know but I feel like the answer is, and will always be KATY PERRY.
