“I got 99 problems but Mitt ain’t one”

It’s been four years since our mates in the U.S. hit the voting booths (or didn’t) and while today’s media is appropriately saturated with every tweet, poll, comment and result deciding who’ll be the U.S. boss man for the next four years, Jay-Z hit the stage in a final Obama rally yesterday while the rest of the world (well, Australia anyway) was drinking, gambling and hoping that they’d make up for their Melbourne cup losses in the $100 million Lotto jackpot.

At a Barack Obama rally in Columbus, Ohio, Shawn Corey Carter himself performed his famous ’99 problems’ with a twist, immediately after Bruce Springsteen hit the stage and right before Mr O delivered a speech to the crowd.

Appropriating the ‘If you havin’ girl problems, I feel bad for you son/ I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one’ lyrics to ‘If you havin' world problems, I feel bad for you, son/ I got 99 problems but Mitt ain't one’ the male half of Bey-Z told the crowd, “I have to do it — I'm sorry. I didn't get clearance from the Secret Service.” The Republican twittersphere predictably went bananas, and you can read all the riled-up for Romney rants here, or just watch the video below. Happy Election Day, everybody! See you in 2016.
