Heidi Montag's new job
Who's saying what
Plastic surgery provocateur and all-round human embarrassment Heidi Montag has a new job.
After she and her husband, fellow former Hills star Spencer Pratt, filed for bankruptcy last year – Pratt’s healing crystals ‘addiction’, “million dollar wardrobe” and Montag’s under-the-knife escapades were cited as reasons for insolvency – things are looking up, as Montag has signed a deal with a Vegas strip club.
Sin City’s Crazy Horse III gentleman’s joint - aka the classy establishment that launched Jenna Jameson's 'career' - has agreed to give the former reality TV personality $25,000 to appear on stage later this month, 'headlining' the club's third birthday party.
Heidi, however, only agreed to sign the lucrative contract on condition that she won’t be obligated to bare her surgically-enhanced assets.
TMZ reports that LC’s once-BFF point blank refused to strip down at the club, and on October 19, when she hits the stage will... just walk around while punters throw dirty cash at her while fully dressed? Errr Heidi, where’s the fun in that?!
Montag’s main man Pratt will “accompany” her to the event, which means that at least since their almost-divorce in 2010, things seem to be going well.
The pair currently live in a house owned by Pratt’s parents because they can’t afford to pay rent. Their dismal financial situation is also partly because of Heidi’s failed foray into music – her debut album, 'Superficial,' (2010) sold fewer than 1,000 records in its first week.
This, people, is the reality of being on reality TV. Don't quit your day jobs.
