Game of Thrones Season 3 has a premiere date, announces new cast members
In other news from Comic-Con, the Game of Thrones panel (featuring author George R. R. martin, Richard Madden [Robb Stark], Michelle Fairley [Catelyn Stark], Alfie Allen [Theon Greyjoy], Rose Leslie [Ygritte], Emilia Clarke [Daenerys Targaryen] and producer Carolyn Strauss) announced the release date for the anticipated third season: the first episode will premiere on March 31, 2013 on HBO.
Another big announcement was the release of the names of 14 new cast members, compiled and introduced via the video below:
Other than this, our favourite information from the panel included on and off set anecdotes from the cast members, highlights of which include Emilia Clarke being called “Khaleesi” by a woman in a department store, and Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) being given a joke script in which his character is killed off by Bran.
