I was
re-living my love of Dave Hill yesterday on YouTube and catching up on all the clips of his that had been made and uploaded onto the site since I first became obsessed with him (check out his
"report" from Comic Con to understand why) when I found a video filmed during 2006 New York Fashion Week.
Dave, being a mischievous kind of fellow, is schmoozing with assorted attendees and models and asking ridiculous questions. His favourite trick is to ask an interviewee what they think of an up and coming designer who isn't actually a designer but they'd know the name for other reasons. For instance, this year Dave asked unsuspecting victims what they thought of Trig Palin's new line of clothing, and rather then look ignorant, they just bluff and rattle on about how much they love his new stuff, etc.
Back in 2006, Dave asked people what they thought of Kofi Annan and (remember the dude who confessed to but was not actually responsible for Jon Benet's murder?) John Mark Carr's collection... one of those people being (and do correct me if I'm wrong, but it certainly looks and sounds like her) Miranda Kerr.
Check out what she has to say about Kofi Annan's fashion line:
