Charlie Sheen: Lance Armstrong is ‘kind of a douche’

With an anthology of melt downs, press controversies and abuse allegations to his name, you’d think the relentlessly offensive Charlie Sheen would offer some supportive “you’ll get through this, buddy” advice to disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong in light of his doping – equivalent “tiger blood”, if you will – scandal.

Despite both of their perverted definitions of “winning”, Sheen, like the rest of the world, feels no kind sentiments towards Armstrong post last month’s Oprah interview, saying that when he met the sportstar in 2005 Armstrong was “kind of a douche”. Pot, meet kettle.

In an appearance on Jay Leno’s talk show last night, Sheen unleashed a (nowhere near full-blown) tirade on Armstrong, “I base that on meeting him, you know.”

“He was talking to, I think he was talking to Sheryl Crow [Lance's former fiancée] at the time. I said, 'Hi Mr Armstrong, I'm Charlie Sheen. I just wanna say hello.' He looks at me, he's like, 'That's nice.' Sorry to bother ya, Captain Bitchin',” Sheen said of their brief interaction. “Whatever.”

The ex-Two and a Half Men star also has a rather unique take on Armstrong’s very public denouncement, “If he was a better guy I think he’d be forgiven a lot faster and a lot easier. Kind of like me”.

This, people, is what we call deluded self-perception and acute narcissism. Chuck Lorre would agree.
