According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers Raffaella and Dino De Laurentiis are in the final stages of getting a MacGyver movie off the ground. They just need to secure a writer.

In case you're too junior to know what the hell we're talking about, MacGyver was a secret agent from an '80s TV show who managed to get himself out of sticky situations with ingenious contraptions made from everyday items.
