Those people at Nintendo are pretty clever, really. They've created a video game that girls can play and look sexy. Gaming nerds around the world: celebrate.
Not surprisingly, some of the first people to capitalise on the sexiness of Wii Fit hula hoop game were the crew at Playboy, who created
this video of 2008 Cyber Girl of the Year Jo Garcia playing the game in various states of undress.
Then came the home-made video below, which has apparently had over 3 million hits now on YouTube. It's titled "Why every guy should buy their girlfriend Wii Fit". Lauren Bernat, 25, claims she was secretly filmed by her boyfriend, and she was initially angry when she found
out he had posted it. Rumours started to circulate that is was actually a viral marketing ad, a claim which has been denied by Nintendo. A spokesperson from the company has been quoted as saying "This has and is absolutely 100 per cent nothing to do with Nintendo. Nintendo did not create it and were not aware of it until it was brought it to our attention".
In an attempt to grab a slice of the fame,
Playgirl model Nicholas Ryan has posted his own
YouTube video. You'll note that he's upped the ante in his version, by employing a variety of props, including nunchakus. For no apparent reason.
Be warned. It's not for the faint-hearted.
