Aw shit, this is kind've the business. You've probably heard that Beck has been running a little get together for a while now via his website, dubbed 'Record Club', wherein he and a bunch of friends cover an entire album and post it online. So far he's done Songs of Leonard Cohen, The Velvet Underground and Nico, and Skip Spence’s Oar. Now, after that swathe of '60s records, he's tackling the stadium jam dear to our part of the world - INXS's 1987 stadium-filler Kick.

The LA manchild has pulled in an eclectic, decidedly un-stadium freindly crew for such a thing. The ever beguiling Liars (whose Angus Andrews takes lead vocals here), secret shredder St. Vincent and the legendary oddball Brizilian jam band Os Mutantes. Not many other details have been posted about the project, but here's the first taste of Hutchence's legacy, 'Guns in the Sky':
