Ok, I have been holding onto this gathering anger for a long time now, and I REALLY need to let it out!

This weekend, I spent my day walking around the city with my friends. Although it didn't come as a surprise, I was still left still in my tracks after a young girl (looked about 10-ish) strutted past me (almost knocking me over) with her little posse of wanna-bees. The girls had faces plasted with make-up, and hair in messy buns. I am sure that many of you have had this experience and have felt the same way. The young kids in our society are taking over!

My friend recently introduced me to this style blog called 'Style Rookie'. It gets thousands of hits everyday, buckets full of money from advertising, and even managed to get mentions in magazines such as 'TIME'. The blogger is 12 years old. 12 YEARS OLD. When I was 12 I was acting our scenes from the Saddle Club in my back garden. I was also trawling the web (as you do), and came across a red carpet event and I swear that half of the attendees photographed were 13 or younger.

Are these young children setting higher standards for us 'older' people (As in, above the age of 16)? I was raised in a society where you followed you dreams (or at least got a proper job and made decent cash) when you finished school. Now am I supposed to get off my lazy bum and do what I want now? I don't know, but what I do know is that i'm not letting that little posse of tweens push me out of their way again.
