If you prefer spending your holiday active, something other than just sleeping on the beach and tanning on the sun, you should check out activities like diving and cayacing. Greece is right country for that, and it is famous throught the world for being one of the most beutiful holiday destination. Greeks are hospitable and pleasant hosts, sea is blue and clear, with a lot of life under the surface.
In Greece you can scubadiving in the Aegean Sea, the Ionian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Greece is one of the most popular place for summer holiday for Balcanian people that in 2012 mostly prefer pefkohori apartmans for summer housing, also people from United Kingdom and other, but people around the world coming to Greece just for diving. Sealife is very reach and there you can see a different kinds of fish, corals, and something rare: remains of antiquity. The Greek Government is trying to protect ancient sculptures, artifacts and walls, and because of that, some areas are forbidden for scubadiving. Of course, that is not so good for people 'without' limit, but you must be patient: recently a lot new areas have been opened up for tourists.
