Sure Kylie and Jason’s wedding was big, but if you like your drama with actors and plot, nothing tops Carrie and Aiden’s break-up or Mr Big materialising yet again at the most in/opportune moment (depending on your perspective).

There was a time in the early noughties where gals and their pals were glued to the screen Monday nights riding the tulle waves of Carrie’s lovelife, Samantha’s frolics, Miranda’s mood swings and Charlotte’s girlish bangs.  While the series is long over it’s certainly not forgotten.

And finally - Sex in the City: The movie hits Australia next month.  The premiere trail has begun for our four favourite girls.

The Age offers a round up of the film “The film begins in the present, with all the characters older and more thoughtful than their younger selves. Carrie, now in her early 40s, is a contributing editor to Vogue and a best-selling author. She's also got more money, and she's got Mr Big, the man she spent most of the television series chasing.”

Meanwhile, Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) talks about leaving her husband and falling a love with a gal in this article.

Ah, I’m off to reminisce about my fave SITC moments.  My gals on the lounge in our trakkies eating from a bowl propped under our gob by our knees.  Pasta sauce on the nanna blanket and our chin.  Glamour.
