Jeans are a humans best friend. They are reliable, trustworthy and dependent. These are just a few ‘woody’ words that describe denim. Locally in Melbourne there is one that does it best, Note to Self. Those jeans are great. With the ‘American Workwear’ being a huge style trend right now, it’s safe to say that a good pair of jeans is a great idea right now. I’m pretty much saying that there is no better time then to dress like a teddy bear dock worker. 

If your trying to sniff out some denim while your in LA there is one place to go: Self Edge. Located on La Brea. This place is like a one stop shop for high end, high quality jeans. The staff are lovely and the store is beautiful. With two stores in California and one in New York your bound to find one on your vacation away. There most impressive label they carry in my opinion is ROY. No I’m not talking about Australian based fashion company Roy, I’m talking about this guy. These jeans are all made by one guy and one at a time. That’s right each pair is done start to finish by one guy. 

Anyway that’s all I have to say about that. It’s a good store with good product and good people. Go get your eye in and enjoy the denim.
