Slightly exciting new cast members are being added to the eagerly anticipated third season of Alan Ball's HBO hit True Blood.
Alfre Woodard guest stars at Layfette's mother who is bed bound in a nursing home. Joining her is Kevin Alejandro from Southland, playing her carer who becomes involved with Layfette.
Also joining the mix is Kiwi actor Grant Bowler, of recent Ugly Betty and Outrageous Fortune fame (and of course, Channel 7's The Mole.) His role yet is unknown.
As well as the aforementioned three, there are many more that are being added to the cast. More details will soon surface.
Regular stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgård, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Nelsan Ellis and Rutina Wesley will return to reprise their respective roles.
