What's with everyone having a sex tape these days? Or should I say, what's with everyone not having a sex tape these days? Most recently, there was that guy from Home and Away who boasted to have made some kinda of "scandalous" tape (as if he's Whitney Houston admitting to filming herself doing crack, but if you ever did see Being Bobby Brown, then evidence may point to the contrary)  There's also been the whispers circulating of Rhianna and her own tape of discretions that is populating the webpages. Now, the latest casualty, I read, is Dustin Lance Black, the Oscar winning screenwriter of Harvey Milk/Sean Penn starring biopic Milk.

Photos managed to make their way onto PerezHilton.com (where else?) recently, showing the writer having unprotected sex with some random guy (that's right. He's gay. Did you not see his Oscar winning speech? Click here to view it) not to mention other compromising shots.

It hurt a bit to see this one. Usually these sex tapes feature the sexual exploits of the nobodies of Hollywood or the "I-don't-give-a-shit-about" D-listers. But our friend Dustin had some credentials. Despite the pictures being thrown around everywhere, I can't see this hurting his career too much though. But why is that? Is it because he is gay? I don't know. Maybe. He's already taken the opportunity to use this as a "don't do what I did - bareback style" rant. So maybe it will equal more attention and a platform for some kinda safe sex advocacy. Who knows! Only time will tell.
