Karl Lagerfeld has once again come up with an amazing and as always, aesthetically pleasing runway show for Chanel. This time for the 2010 Spring-Summer Haute Couture Show held at Pavillon Cambon-Capucines late last month.
Models donned over-sized hair pieces and equally over-sized hairstyles that added to the grand feel of the show.
Among the most popular trends in the show were fitted blazer and shorts ensembles ranging from bright orange to the softest of pastel hues. Teamed with metallic boots, belts and tights - this show kept a modern romantic theme throughout.
60s inspired dresses with ruffles and pleats, gathered tulle and textured fabrics, both silk cocktail dresses and long goddess-like gowns with embroided detail were among a plethora of other magnificent pieces, Chanel has once again lived up to expectations.
