Friday night (19/3) in Perth at Amplifier Bar.

You gotta love these guys.

Eddy Current Suppression Ring live and breathe punk rock.

We watched them set up their own gear, do their sound check and get straight down to business, launching into Anxiety from their latest album.

Yes there we problems, the band blew their keyboard amp almost straight away, the house PA was really shit (take note Amplifier Bar) and the beers were nine bucks each. But you know, none of that mattered a pinch.

They were fucking glorious.

Take a bow, Brendan Suppression. Your energy and enthusiasm for the occasion rubbed off on everybody that was there. It was tremendous when you leaped into the crowd, made your way through the masses, then stood up on the bar and sang to us all. We felt loved.

Go and see this band. Buy their records. Spread the word.

They're tops.
