As you may have gathered by now, I’m a man who enjoys the simple luxuries of life. Hand soaps, good smells, good food and good clothing. Nothing too over the top, with a reference to the classics. That’s my scene and that’s my vibe. Sometimes that taste leads me down the ‘expensive’ road. Other times it leads me down the other options. I like to think though that I have an eye for what is good. I know that sounds arrogant and maybe it is, but I know what I like and I guess I’m pretty confident about that.
Anyway enough about me.
It’s no secret I have a few favorite clothing stores in the world. Most of them are based in LA. Besides the
obvious I have decided that my favorite hands down is
Confederacy. Located on Hollywood Blvd in Los Feliz the store is owned by Danny Masterson and Ilaria Urbinati. Yes that’s right Danny Masterson from That 70’s Show. I’m sure his sick and tired of hearing people say that. The 5,000 square foot space of both woman and men’s clothing feels more like a mansion filled with everything you like. My personal favorite items are the Albert Hammond Jr For Confederacy suit range. I think I’ve made it pretty clear that I like suits in my life, and there is no exception here.
Opening in 2008 the place is amazing and truly one of my favorites. Oh and the staff are always really nice and awesome. So if you have a lay over in route to JFK or you’re in town for a few weeks. Be sure to make a stop at Confederacy. It won’t disappoint. It’s also in a really nice area where you will find a hand full of great stores within walking distance. Kill two birds with one stone.
