I’ve done a lot of posts on TheVine. Hopefully sometimes they connect and get people excited about something. That’s really the goal. If you read this often, or if this is your first time, then thank you. You’ll notice that I like to talk about a lot of the same things and that I’ve posted about Family Bookstore in LA a lot. So much so that you might think it’s the only bookstore that exists in LA. In some aspects, maybe it is, but there is another bookstore in LA that is amazing.

Book Soup is located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood and it has been selling books since 1975. It has amazing floor to ceiling bookshelves and all round vibes that are worth a look. With over 60,000 titles Book Soup will surely have something for you. They are one of the last surviving and leading independent bookstores. They have a great selection of art and film books. Now, I was going to talk about the high profile book signings they have and there celebrity clientele but I don’t think it matters, because the bookstore alone is awesome and that is enough. 

My heart lies with Family Bookstore and always will, but sometimes I like to see what else is out there. Trust me, there are some good things out there. Book Soup is one of them. Plus it's a pretty awesome name for a bookstore.
