It seems like not even Beyonce is immune to ‘Mad Man’ fever.

Yesterday, the 1950s/60s inspired video for Beyonce’s new single “Why Don’t You Love Me” debuted on the internet and in quite a short space of time, has already become a sensation (amongst my friends anyway).

For those who haven’t seen it, prepare to be wowed:

Borrowing a phrase from one of my good friends, why you gotta be so hot for?

Although I never was a huge fan of Beyonce videos, post ‘Single Ladies’ I cannot get enough of ‘em. And this one reaches a whole new level of radness, the skimpy costumes, the little intro, the Grammy dusting, the blonde wig that Beyonce seems to have kept from the ‘Telephone’ video with Gaga....watch out Madonna, a new queen of reinvention is picking up where you left off.

There are just so many reasons to love Beyonce. She has an undeniable swagger and ferocity that puts her in the same league with big hip hop acts, and yet she is still able to convey pain and vulnerability much more convincingly than other big namers (ahem...Britney). It's really hard to believe that someone who was once in a band named 'Destiny's Child' has retained so much cred.

Wanna see her walk some crocodiles?
