You have to wonder what Banksy does with all that money acquired by selling whole walls of peoples houses for a measly 200k (A$452,137) the odd Banksy blessed street furniture and canvases, he's really not doing too bad for himself!

His latest conquest includes a whole bunch of massive walls in uptown New York, to remind the rats of the race at hand. Impressive to say the least.

But now, Banksy is steady making statements and opening pet stores with breaded fish that swim in a large round bowl while hot dogs are living the high life under heat lamps in cages near the cash register.

By now captain obvious has got you thinking that, this ain't no pet store.

“New Yorkers don’t care about art, they care about pets. So I’m exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art."

The store is being held in a tiny storefront that's less than 300 square feet and can't hold more than 20 people at any one time. From now until October 31st (Halloween), Banksys pet store is officially open each and every daily from 10am until midnight.

A battery hen watches supportively over her young as they feed on sweet dipping sauce.

Fish Fingers, I can just see Happy Gilmore jumping out and screaming, "ARE YOU TOO GOOD FOR YOUR HOME?"

You should be looking at this with the same disdainful look as when you see it spinning on rollers at your local 7-Eleven.

A young female rabbit tests applies her make up. Approving rabbit?

Awwww, aren't they cute how they look like they just want to dive right in there,
Chicken nuggets are so cute and innocent when they are young.
