graniph has saved our T-shirt souls… again. This time it’s for the ladies.
Founded in 2001, graniph have been collaborating with the freshest artists on the planet from the ‘T-shirt centre of the universe’ Japan. On this colab,
CSS vocalist Lovefoxxx not only hits a tune with the crowd but is also a designer.
It’s CMYK for CSS. Photoshop by design, photogenic by nature.
There is no question, Lovefoxxx is hot to trot. In late 2007 the band’s “Music is My Hot, Hot Sex” was used in an iPod Touch advert. Who says promo doesn’t sell? As a result of this effort, the song became the highest charting single by a Brazilian band in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
To showcase her skills, graniph have collaborated with her on not one, but wait, two limited edition tees. From November 20th (how’s that for warning?) you can purchase
one of these designs exclusively from any graniph store and
graniph.comFor an average of $AUD40 bucks, that’s refreshing change especially in the doom
and gloom of the current economy. And that’s what you can count graniph on – well-considered, fresh tees that are unique and most importantly, affordable. Save
our souls indeed, Lovefoxxx.
graniph have become quite the powerhouse in the T-shirt world. They now have over
70 specialist T-shirt stores spread throughout Asia – including one in Sydney.
Oh… if you happen to be in Tokyo and want to see what the hype is all about on CSS, head straight to the
Liquidroom on the 25th/26th of this month.
T-il next time,
Eddie
